Purpose
If you contact us through the My Pregnancy Journey web app with an enquiry or with feedback, you will be asked to provide some personal information about yourself. We will contact you with a response using the email address you provide or your telephone number, if you provide one. We will respond to all enquiries where a valid email address is included.
If you do not wish to be contacted by us in response to your enquiry, please let us know by stating this when you submit your enquiry to us.
Lawful basis
The CCG’s legal basis for processing personal data under GDPR is Article 6(1) a – consent.
For the processing of special category data, the legal basis is Article 9(2) a – explicit consent.
Type of information used
Personal Data: your full name, an email address and telephone number (optional).
Special category data (should you choose to provide this as part of your enquiry): religious or philosophical beliefs, political opinions, trade union membership, health, ethnic-origin, sex life or orientation.
Who we will share the information with (recipients)
Your personal information will be used to manage your enquiry via the relevant service area and to provide the information that you have requested. Sometimes this will mean we have to contact a partner organisation to help us in providing you with a response to your enquiry. We will not use or share your personal information for any other purpose other than for the purpose of providing you with a response.
We respect your privacy and will only use your personal information in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation.
Do we use any processors
The Health Informatics Service (THIS), our IT supplier store all our information securely on their servers.
The information will be stored in a secure environment and access to it will be restricted to only people who need to access it.
How we collect (the source) and use the information
We will only receive this information directly from you.
How long we will keep the information
We will keep a record of your personal information, your enquiry and our response to you, in line with the NHS record retention timescales within the Records Management Code of Practice for Health and Social Care 2016.

Under GDPR you have the right:

- Of access to the information held about you
- To have the information corrected in the event that it is inaccurate
- To have your information deleted
- To restrict or stop processing
- To have your information transferred to someone else
